the Discipleship Training Institute (DTI) is a year-round Christian education curriculum designed to provide sound Christian principles. The purpose of DTI is to equip Christians at all levels to become more effective and committed disciples of Christ through promoting excellence in mind, character and deed through the ministry of Christian education.
anyone having a desire to grow in their Christian discipleship is encouraged to enroll. Classes are held in the Word Center every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM. The Institute offers three (3) levels of graduate certificates: Basic, Intermediate and Advanced. The cost for each DTI class is $20.00 plus textbooks and materials.

when you join the Pilgrim Rest Family, there are two areas in which you should participate: Discipleship and Service. Discipleship encompasses learning more about Christ. Service is how you can transfer your knowledge into action.
the Discipleship Learning and Serving concept is intertwined and symbiotic in nature. The concept is based on the idea that as believers we should strive to increase our knowledge of our Lord and Savior. As our knowledge of Him grows, so does our love, thus producing a natural desire to serve.
