the purpose of the Singles’ Ministry is to provide an opportunity for singles to develop spiritual growth through biblical teaching and practical principles in their walk.  The ministry is focused on meeting the needs of single individuals that challenge & confront the issues of today’s society. The ministry emphasizes this through Bible study, prayer, social events, evangelism, and faith – based relationship development.

we the Singles’ Ministry of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, are many members in one body in Christ. Our bodies will be presented as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God. We pledge to put on the Whole armor of God so we will stand our grounds, and hold on to the shield of Faith. We promise to be the Salt and the Light of this world, letting our Light shine before one another that they may see our good works and glorify our father in heaven. We will be hospitable to one another; without grumbling, we will minister our gifts as good stewards. For we know that all things work together for good to those who have been called according to His purpose. If God be for us, who can be against us.
