On March 23, 2010, President Obama signed comprehensive health reform, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA),
into law. The following summary of the law, and changes made to the law by subsequent legislation, focuses on provisions
to expand coverage, control health care costs, and improve health care delivery system.

ARE YOU interested in sharing your home by becoming a Foster or Adoptive Parent?

The next step in the process of becoming a licensed foster home or certified adoptive home is to attend an orientation meeting. Orientations are offered as group sessions or individual meetings depending on the County where you live. At the orientation you will learn about the children in need of homes, more about the requirements to become a foster parent, the process to become licensed, and the support available for foster parents.
